#3 Wednesday, peanut butter cookies

The adorable cookie monster!
Hey guys, I have not been having much time on my hands lately so I'm going to tell you guys about what happened on Wednesday, today. We had home-economics class. We usually cook food like noodles,  fried rice and chicken, but that day, we baked cookies! I love chocolate chip cookies, ( my favourite is the cookies made by Chips More!) They are very tasty and addictive! I could eat them all day and end up like the guy on the right of this post! Anyway in cooking class, me and my partner Liang Yi baked peanut butter cookies. Our grade was 5/5 ( full marks!), and it was our first time baking cookies too!. It was really quite easy and fun to make. First, we gathered all our ingredients: 125g self raising flour, 2 pieces of butter, 2 tbsp fine sugar and 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 egg and 2dsp crunchy peanut butter. ( I'm not really a fan of peanut butter, but still, cookies are cookies! =D) First I sifted the flour, we do this to avoid impurities, while my partner mixed the butter and sugar together with the electric mixer. Once the mixture was mixed well together, we gradually added the egg, pouring it in bit by bit during the mixing. At this point, the mixture reminded me of diarrhea, brown and milky. Next, we added the peanut butter, followed by the flour shortly afterward. I rolled the dough into a ball, and it came clean, there were no sticky parts at all. I tore the dough evenly and rolled each piece into balls. Then we used a fork and pressed horizontally on the cookies and then vertically, so it looked like a grid pattern. In the oven the cookies went and what came out was heaven. They were truly scrumptious. I brought it home and even my mother commended me on my work. She said for the next event my family holds, I must bake these cookies for the guests! And I don't see why not! Well, until next time, bye!
  - Furry cookie loving badger, peace out!
